Peyton's 3rd Birthday and the 4th of July

For Peyton's birthday this year she was spoiled with lots of fun experiences. The day of her birthday Brandt was working so when he got home we opened gifts and had red velvet cake. She requested a red cake and was very excited about it. She probably asked me where her cake was at least 10 times that day. For dinner we took her out to eat at the T-Rex Cafe. It is probably one of the coolest places I have ever eaten, but you definitely pay for the atmosphere and the food isn't very good. She loved it though!
Since Brandt had the 4th of July off of work we bought tickets to the new aquarium,Sea Life, for that day. Both Peyton and Paisley loved it! It was worth every penny to hear their cute giggles. Peyton got to hold a hermit crab and a starfish. She was in heaven! That evening we headed over to a good friend's house for a 4th of July BBQ. It was probably one of my favorite 4th of July's. They have an indoor pool so all of our kids swam and we all sat around eating amazing food and chatting. We were even able to watch the fireworks from their yard so we didn't have to deal with any traffic.

The lighting in Sea Life was horrible. They have to keep everything dark for the fish and you aren't allowed to use flash photography...so excuse the horrible pictures :)
